Understanding Bank Transfer (ACH) Times with elroy

Learn about the time it takes for funds to settle when transferring from an external bank account.

Updated over a week ago

When you add funds to your elroy account from an external bank account, the transaction is not immediate. This process involves an Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfer, which typically takes 1 to 3 business days to settle. This means that the funds you transfer will not be available in your elroy account on the same day of the transaction.

While the ACH transfer is in process, you will see the transaction as pending in your account. Once the funds have settled, the status will change to completed, and the funds will be available for use.

If you need to add funds immediately, elroy offers an alternative option using a debit card. However, please note that this option comes with a fee of $0.35 plus 3% of the transaction amount.

We understand that waiting for funds to settle can be inconvenient. At elroy, we are committed to providing you with clear and transparent information about our processes. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
